IN/VISIBLE (3)Tempelhof Airport, Berlin.October 2008."Preview - the emerging Artfair", Berlin
"IN/VISIBLE" is a series of images and interviews with passers-by made from vanishing places of social and historical importance. The Tempelhof Airport was famous for the "Luftbrücke" and the "Rosinenbomber" after the WW2. The Airport was closed down in October 2008 and celebrated by the Preview Artfair. "IN/VISIBLE (2)" documented the last months in 2004 before the tearing-down of the "Palast der Republik", the East German Parliament and House of Culture. The work was exhibited in the HAU theatre, Berlin. "IN/VISIBLE (1)" documented "Christiania", the occupied area in Copenhagen, in 2004 just before the present slow "dry-out" strategy was initialized by police and government. The work was exhibited at the Performer Stammtisch, Berlin. |
